We went up the canyon again with my mom, dad, Cody, and Cole. It was much more quiet and relaxing. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful canyon 2 mins. from our house. We love it!

Oh shoot! That's my Hubby in a suit. Who would of thought that would happen! He is one fine man! Oh and look there's me in he back ground and I look half way normal. HE HE. Or maybe its just cuz my make-up is on and I got my hair did. Or maybe it's cuz I have nice cloths on. To bad I'm not smiling. This was a BIG day FOR US!!!! I will share more on that later. Well I didn't take a single picture at the party so I had to track down a camera to share the pics from. So sorry its late.

I can't believe she is two. They grow way to fast! We ate hamburgers and curly fries. (Its the tradition for my family.) Had a little Easter egg hunt. (Her birthday is April 15th So it was before Easter. Was that a little tacky?) We opened presents. Ate LOTS of cake. Had a bubble fight. We had a ton of people up too. She was spoiled. As I was looking at these pics I realized she has a ton a BOY friends. Where are all the ladies?

Anyway, Can I just say I have one pretty, sassy, smart, and funny little 2 year old. Love her FACE!!!!!!!!!

Its always a party when the Dalley's come to town. So we thought we would take it up the canyon with 6 little Children and 5 adults. We were out numbered and we didn't stay long. The older 3 were fine but man have I mentioned I DISLIKE the age of one? They eat everything! We did get to see a fish that some one caught and Easton and Martin even touched it. They thought that was fun. Oh and the picture at the top is only for Greg cuz he keeps asking to see a picture of me. Well I don't really like me self right at the moment and I hide from the camera so that's all you get.

My mom and dad took Maddie down to watch Cole's girlfriend do a horse show/compititon. It was a nice little break for me and Maddie had a blast. She is normally afraid of horses but she likes Kenana. (That is not how you really say here name but that's Maddies version.) So I guess if Kenana thought they were OK so did she. She looks so big riding that horse. Where did my little lady go?

Gregs brother Brian and his wife Kate came to visit from Georgia. We haven't seen them since Maddie was 8 Months old. It was so fun and we had a very action packed week. Has anyone seen my mind?........... I lost it last week sometime. That was one long week. Glad its over and we can get back to normal life. Thanks Grandma, Grandma CC, Cole, Cody and Grandpa for helping out. I don't think I could have made it with out them.

My Aunt Diane passed away two weeks ago after a very short battle with cancer. No one was prepared for it and I still think most of us are still in shock. I just can't wrap my mind around it. It started with stomach pain, then ulcers, then cancer but not sure what kind, to pancreatic cancer and only given a week to live. She died 4 days later. This all happened with in a month. She was like the glue for the whole family. She loved everyone of us like her own.

I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with her when I was younger. Some of my best memories of her are back packing and camping. I will never forget the time in wind rivers when we were all so slow to hike out. She said she couldn't keep stopping or she wasn't going to make it up the hill so she went on with out us. When we finally reached her in the field at the top she was in tears. She started screaming about a big bear and how you have never seen a 40 year old women with a 40 pound pack run up hill as fast as she did. As scary as that was I'm pretty sure we were all laughing at her analogy.

I also remember what we call the "Hell hike". She was crazy enough to take Marti, Clint, David, me, (I'm pretty sure we were all 12 and younger) Rick, and my grandpa Phillips to hike the Unitas. It was the worst hike every and the fishing was horrible. But we sure did eat good. She carried a big old pack of tortillas and we stuffed em full of some rice stuff. They were very heavy and if ya have ever gone back packing you know how hard that would really be. Now she kept reminding us how heavy those things were and we all should be grateful that the old lady decided to bring them along. I was totally grateful and I know everyone else was too.

Then there is always Flaming Gorge. She loved that place. Just like all of us do. It will be hard with her not there. She always had to go hike Leady Peak and put her name on a rock and put it on the big rock piles. She was terrified of the lake and all the cliff jumping and swimming. She always came though. Who is going to bring all the food? She loved to take care of everyone out there.

I also remember when I would have a sleep over with Marti and we would stay up late and dress all weird. She came in one time and just laughed right alone with us. She was also kind enough to share Marti with me all summer long. She would let her stay at my house for weeks at a time. Good times those were.

She secretly dressed my Maddie the first year of her life. Every time I saw her she would have some new cute outfit for her. She would always come up to me and say, "Kim, I found the cutest little outfit for Maddie and I just had to buy it. But don't tell my girls cuz they will be mad I didn't buy them anything." Then she would just laugh her little laugh and put her hands over her mouth the way she always did. I'm going to miss that laugh.

We can't forget about her running. Every Tuesday and Thursday on my way to work around 9am I always drove past her and would honk and wave. Or sometimes stop to say Hi. She ran for miles everyday. She was an inspiration.

This has all made me stop and think about my life, my family. It makes me want to be a better person like her. To help whenever I can. To take better care of my self. To keep my house cleaner. To be very involved with my whole family. To stay strong in the church no matter what. To love my new calling in the cub scouts. To stop and enjoy all the good moments and let go of all the bad. That no one is perfect. That family matters the most. That life can change in a matter of moments. That someday I can and will see her again.

Since Greg is away for the summer I have to keep him up to date through pictures. Thanks goodness for modern technology. It makes it easier to keep up with loved ones while they are gone. So there are a lot of pics. I don't think we could live with out the sprinklers, swing, tramp and sand box. They keep me sane while I'm baby sitting. 4 kids 3 and under kinda makes me want to pull my hair out some days. But at the same time I love them all. Oh and we couldn't have to much fun with the mac and cheese for dinner. Healthy I know.

So I got to babysit my newphew Easton for a few days. His mama was going crazy sewing those awesome felt flower pillows in her shop. If ya haven't seen them go check em out. Anyway, back to the story. Easton LOVES music and knows the words better than I do. Its pretty awesome. And Maddie just loves to do anything that he does. So we had one wicked dance party in my bed room. I'm not gonna lie I busted out some pretty good moves. They thought I was pretty funny. Easton and Maddie were pretty wicked too.

A day in the life of Maddie

She also loves the garden.We have to go check it out and see what is all growing. We have to be careful or see will walk on everything. She is walking on carrots in one of the pictures. Don't tell grandpa or he might be a little mad.

She loves to jump on the tramp. She is pretty dang good at it too. She tries really hard to do bums but she can't figure out how to jump high enough to come back up to her feet. Don't mind Cody in the back ground with his white belly and other unsightly things.

She likes to help out in the yard. She loves her Uncle Cody and Cole. She follows them around like a lost puppy. She learned this thing from Easton where they follow who ever is mowing the lawn with a stroller or wheel barrel. So they can be just like them.

She has this small obsession with these cowboy boot slippers that Uncle Thomas bought her from his mission. She wears them all day.

We pretty much hang out side all day to keep her happy and entertained.

Making cookies.....

I was craving something sweet and there is nothing in my house. I don't think I have gone grocery shopping for a month besides the basic's of bread, milk, and eggs. My shelves are looking really empty. But lucky for us we can go borrow some stuff from my mom upstairs.

Maddie had a blast and in return made the biggest mess that kitchen has seen. It was worth all the clean up though. We haven't done anything fun since we got home with Bridger. And since we can't really go outside cuz its cold and I have no car to go anywhere, the kitchen was the next best thing.

The cookies were good but call me crazy I just like the cookie dough. Sometimes I make them just to freeze the dough and eat it one bite at a time. I think Maddie feels the same way. I took away the beater and she sure did let me know she didn't appreciate it. I think one of the pictures she is yelling at me for it.

She would wake up in the morning and yell first for the baby and then for COOKIES!!! I only gave them to her once before she at breakfast. Does that make me a bad mom?

Two weeks

I am totally slacking in the blog department. But here you go. This is when he was two weeks old. I don't know why but I can never get a good picture of him. Oh, did I mention he has red red hair! Ya it keeps getting more red by the day. He looks so much like Greg its crazy. We went to the doctor and these are his stats:

Weight: 8 lbs 15 oz

height: 21 1/3 in.

and I can't remember the head measurements.

He slept so good for the first two weeks. 6-7 hours and then has a bottle and goes right back to sleep for 5 more. He is content all day long. He doesn't need much attention. Which is probably a good things considering who his sister is.

I love watching him sleep. He pulls some pretty funny faces and laughs a lot. I can't wait for that to happen when he is awake.

It was 54 degrees and it felt like summer.....

Today (Monday) was a much better day with Maddie! Granted we spent the majority of our time outside. Maybe all we needed was a little sun to make us feel a little better. I am tired of being cooped up inside and can wait for warmer weather to come. We jumped on the trap, kicked a ball, ran around, played in the snow, and her favorite sat in the swing. Bridger was great and hung out in the swing inside most of the day. Didn't make a peep even though Maddie hogged mom all day long.

5 days back at work..... and my baby is still alive! (both of them!)

I know you all are going to ask if I went back to work but just the hubby did. Although I feel like I am working 24/7 myself!

Between fending Maddie off of Bridger because she wants to hold, kiss, smother, hit, kick, bite, hold, kiss, and smother him.

In that exact order every single day, all darn day long!

She really does love him and its cute to watch and then all of the sudden she gets this look in her eyes and you know all heck is going to break lose in just a few seconds. I am feeling a little lost on what to do with her.

People have given me a ton of ideas to help but most of the time it makes it worse. Any suggestions you guys might have would be greatly appreciated!

Bridger on the other hand is still a GREAT BABY!!! Thank goodness! Even when big sister is having a moment and won't leave him alone he just sits there, takes it, and never ever cries! The only time he cries is when he is hungry! He is still sleeping great for a newborn and he is pretty content all day long. I love his little face!

All my post were about this sassy little thing.

Not so much anymore...... I don't know why I forget to take pictures. I just do.

It's a bad habit I need to break.

And seriously who wouldn't want to take pictures of this pretty little thing.

I think its mostly because I deal with this ALL DAY LONG!!!

It is a constant mess! She loves to pull everything out and drag it all around the house.

But then I catch pictures like this and it makes my heart melt just a little.......

She loves to read and dress and smother her baby dolls. She makes them there own little bed and will read for a good hour.

Now..... you can't read to her. She has to do it all by herself.

Little Miss Independent is what I call her these days.

And did you notice in all her pictures she looks like a rag muffin. Ya she is in the no cloths stage and forget about doing her hair.

She has learned how to undress and dress herself. She comes up with some pretty amazing outfits. ( I really like the ones with my bra and undies for hats! HA HA)

She has been able to put her own shoes and cloths on but has struggled to figure out the socks until Sunday. And you should have seen her face.

She was so proud.

Its crazy how much they learn. Now if only she could talk better cuz we have some really frustrating days with each other.

Sometimes I just can't figure out what she is telling me and we both have melt downs.

She does like to sing though. It truly is entertaining.

What did we ever do with out babies to make us laugh?

We must have been really bored.

Where has the time gone?

I was just looking through old pictures of Maddie when she was a baby. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. She has been my little shadow for 18 months. It won't just be Maddie and Me all the time. I think I'm going to miss it. Are little family of 3 is now turning into 4 and I'm just a teeny tiny bit sad and worried about it.

Don't get me wrong I feel like this new baby is supposed to be here right now and I already love him more than anything.

I had the strongest felling that we had a little one waiting for us up there.

I didn't feel ready nor did I want to be pregnant so soon. But I couldn't get the thought out of my head.

I finally told Greg and two weeks later I got pregnant.

It happened so fast that I can't deny that someone else is looking out for us. It took us a year and a half to finally get pregnant with Maddie. So I know this little boy is supposed to be here right now.

But still I wonder........

What if I don't have enough of myself to give to both of them?

How am I going to handle 2 kids? Are they going to feel loved? How are we going to provide for them?

I'm sure every mother and father have these same doubts and concerns.

I worry about it everyday.

I just have to remember that I am blessed enough to give birth.

Some people are not so lucky.

Some days when I complain about being pregnant I have to remind myself of that time when I wanted a baby so bad but it never happened.

Month after month.

And we didn't know if it ever would.

I remember being so upset about other pregnant woman who would complain and whine and say they never would have gotten pregnant in the first place if they knew how bad it was going to be.

I wanted to yell and scream at them.

And tell them.... I am wishing and praying every day for it to happen to me.

Be grateful.

I also have to remember that if you have faith that anything is possible. Anything. He trusted us enough to send us Maddie and he must trust us enough to send us this little one. I just have to believe in us, in our family. We can do anything.

Our lives are going to change but for the better. I can't wait to meet this little boy. I already feel so blessed to be his mother.

And to Maddie.....

I hope you know how much I love you! I hope our relationship will continue to grow. Nothing will change how much I care and adore you.

You have changed my life so much.

Thank You for choosing me to be your mother.

I feel so blessed.

BOY!!!!!!!! We are so excited! There was no mistaking it. He let it all hang out! We got so many pictures from the ultra sound. Its amazing what they can do with the 4-D stuff. My last doc only gave us one picture and you couldn't tell what it was. Some of the pics are side ways but I couldn't get them to flip sorry. Anyway, I can't wait for him to get here! He is so active in my belly I'm afraid he will be just as rambunctious as Miss Maddie.

We are having a hard time picking a name. Do you guys have any suggestions?

My little brother Cody is going to Homecoming this weekend at Lone Peak. He asked me if I could take the flowers I make for headbands and place them on a wrist band to make a corsage. I thought it was genius! I always hated the real ones because the fell apart half way through the night or the were pretty much dead and ugly. Well this one aint going no where and she can cut the wrist band off and glue it to a headband if she wants. I thought it turned out cute. Her dress is black with gold. I think I might have to sell them. Did you know a real one cost the boys 20 buckeroo's or more. This only cost him 3 bucks! I wish you could see it in person. Its awesome if I do say so myself!

See she is sweet and then.....

SHE CAN BE EVIL! You really have to watch her because anything can become a weapon! I have been hit by just about anything you could think of including a hand mixer straight to the face. She has this evil little laugh and grin that goes right along with her mean streak. She does not put up with be pushed around or things taken from her. She also just does it for fun. She hits, kicks, scratches, bites, and full on tackles kids to the ground. Its doesn't matter if the are bigger than her. I really don't know what to do with her. She laughs when she gets spanked and thinks time out is play time. I know she is still to young to understand most of it but I don't want her to be the mean kid when she starts nursery in a month. What should I do? Any suggestions?

I think this is the longest I have let the blog slide. It has been a crazy month. I don't even know where to start. After 2 weeks I finally passed two kidney stones and the following week I got a bladder infection. Then the next week we moved. I hate moving and this is the 8th time in five years. I think I am going to live here forever. I refuse to pack one more box. On a good note I am still pregnant and I got to hear the baby's heart beat today. I love that sound!!! 7 more weeks and we get to find out what it is. I hope its a boy so we can be done after this. I have the hardest time being pregnant. I have already lost 6 lbs and I am still so so so sick all of the time. With Maddie it was usually in the mornings and I never really threw up. With this one any time I eat you can count with in the hour I will be by the toilet. The doctor has given me everything and told me all that I can try and I still can't beat it. Enough about me though. Lets talk about this cute little thing ..........

Clint and Katilyn had there baby and she is soo precious! and of course she has the cutest wordrobe in the world and the nursery is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!!!! If you haven't seen her go!!

Also, Kallie will be having Beckham some time this week and I can't wait to meet him! Its about time she had another one! I will post pics as soon as I can.

Now onto Maddie! She is crazy and is completly out of control. I really don't know what to do with her. But she is just so dang cute sometimes! She can count to 3, blows kisses, pounds it, high fives it, and has the most evil laugh in the world.

She loved to carry around any can or water bottle and fill it with dirt.

She was sooo filthy but it was so worth it!

Just relaxing around camp and watchin grandpa make Addi a mail box for her hut. One year I had all the little girls go and make a hut and we decorated it all cute and even put in a mail box. I told everyone to write a note and maybe even give some goodies and sneak it in there. The girls absolutely loved it and now its a staple every year.

You can't go to Leady with out sledding in garbage bags!

The cute little Powell family who will be moving to Colorado next month and Im so sad! I guess we will just have to take lots of trips to visit. Can you believe that Baby Quencee is 7 months old! She is so tiny and precious!

Well here it goes.... day two was a little crazy for me. I woke up at 6:30 with some crazy pain in my low back and abdonmin on my left side. I tried to just walk it off because I always get weird pain and no one can tell me whats wrong. Well after a half an hour it wasn't getting any better so I went and got Greg up to tell him what was going on. I was a little freaked out becuse it was all on my left side and all I could do was throw up. I am pregnant again and I am only 7 weeks so I was worried that maybe it was a tubual pregnancy. So we headed to the ER. Well lots of money and 5 hours later all they could really tell me was that it is possible kidney stones. They can't do a CAT scan cuz Im pregnant so they tried an ultra sound. Well the baby looked good thank goodness! But when they looked at my bladder to see if urine was coming in from my kidney it looked like it was partially blocked. But that's all they could tell me. They gave me some morphine, nausea shots and prescriptions and sent me packin. Who gets lucky enough to be pregnant and have Kidney stones!! ME!!!! Needless to say I am having a pitty party for my self. I am excited however that we will have another little munchin around the house.

Back to camping, We sat around all day and tried to decided if we wanted to head home but the thought of driving made me sick. So we stayed. Everyone else headed up to leady peak. It is so pretty up there. I wish we could have went but my dad got some great pics. And then there is Maddie who just loved being out side and getting dirty all day long. I am glad we stayed for her. Up next day 3!!!

Day one:

This is seriously my favorite place ever! We have been going out there every fourth for as long as I have been born and longer for all the older people. Probably 30 years I would say. Day one was pretty cold and rainy but it didn't stop us from going cliff jumping. We always have to stop to get some dam food on the way back. French fries, tator tots, and ice cream cones are so good. I don't know why it taste so much better up there. Then we decided to head over to red cloud over look. It is pretty cool up there are alot of the trees have been hit by lighting. So cool to see. My favorite part about camping is sitting around the camp fire. This year was a little different because we were all split up so it wasn't as fun but very quite and relaxing. My Uncle Rick and dad always break out there guitars and give us a show. Sometimes Ryan and me will even give it a go even though it never compares to them especcially if you get uncle Rick to drink a few beers. Some of my best memories are sitting there trying not to pee my pants from laughing so hard. Well that is day one stay tuned for day two. It was the most exciting and expensive day ever for me!

She has figured out how to rock it with no ones help.

She just learned how to blow kisses and does it to almost anyone she meets. SOOO stinking cute.

Did I mention that she is teething? So far she has had 5 teeth pop through in one week and more on the way. Why can't kids be born with teeth? I know you couldn't breastfeed but I kinda like that idea.... Haha! Life would be so much easier for them!

P.S. I know she is in her jammies but I'm way to tired and sick to care! Don't judge!

Last Sunday my family and Greg's mom and dad come up for dinner. It was great fun. After dinner we decided to head out to the park. We all had a great time swinging, sliding, climbing, acting crazy, basketball, playing in the dirt, and Frisbee. I'm glad they could all come up and have some fun!

I have been trying to find a dress pattern that I liked to start making and selling on etsy and I just couldn't find one so I made up my own. Its not quite finished but I want to see what you think. St. George trip

We headed down to St. George the first weekend in May. My whole famly and Gregs family came down. It was Brenda's Graduation from SUU. I'm so excited for her! She graduated in elementary ed. She will be the best teacher ever! No joke! And again I forgot my camera so I had to pull picks from my dads. I will have to get a hold of Merrill's camera soon so I can get some pics from the graduation. So for now you will just have to see some of my crazy family.

Its been awhile but every event that I wanted to blog about I forgot my camera. No worries though my dad saved me. Today we hung out with Gregs family all morning and we got to talk to Thomas. I can't beleive he will be home in 7 months. So CRAZY!!!!(I will have to get pics from Merrill the next time I am in town!) Then we headed to my parents house for dinner and the afternoon. Snowmobiling

Every year we go on a snowmobile trip. This year we went to Bear Lake and it was as fun and entertaining as always. Very funny people. Its weird to think that last year I was pregnant with Maddie and she is almost a year old. She just loved all the attention and little people. Not very many kids live around us and the ones that do are moving. So she was in heaven, and so was her daddy. He played all day long and was so wore out by 7 that he would go to bed. Maddie wasn't to sure about the sleds at first but she was fine when her dad took her for a ride. It was really great weather and all you really needed was a light sweater. So we spent a lot of time out on the deck. She is just so dang cute. I know you want her but she is all mine. he he. I can't wait for next year.

I hope you have a very special birthday! I just want to say how much you mean to me and my little family. You are such a good example to us every day. I look up to you so much. You have taught me about life in the hard times and the good times. I loved all the many family vacations we did when we were little. I have so many good memories. I love when you play your guitar and sing for us all. I love when you play your Indian flute. It truly is beautiful. I love when you run around mooning everyone and acting silly. You are so very entertaining. I love that you will drop anything you are doing to hang out when we come down. I know I can always count on you for guidance and love.

I know you don't think we love you for some crazy reason, but we do love you so so so much! Thanks for everything you do!

Maddie has 4 teeth and man oh man are her top ones hilarious! She has this new grin now that cracks me up. I tried to get a good pic of them but she is so active all the time its hard. She is also figuring out how the whole walking thing goes. She does really good holding on to things and she can do it holding just one of your hands. She is to chicken to do it by her self. She also thinks its funny to climb on the couch and jump into the back of it and roll of the side. She scares me sometimes. She got a black eye the other week trying to climb up my night stand!!! I keep thinking you are only 10 months you can't climb yet but she surprises me every day with the things she learns. Love her!!!

I came across this story on a friends blog and I cried for an hour while I was trying to read it. Life can change in a matter of seconds and your whole world can be turned up side down. It made me realize that laundry can wait, dishes can be done later, and that all the little things that you worry about really don't matter. Your family is more important than anything in this world. I don't know what I would do if this happened to my family. I hope and pray that this "little onion" can make it through. Will you pray too?

I told my cousin that I would do her little girls name all cute. That was when she was pregnant. I have been slacking becasue her baby is now 2 months old. (Almost) Better late than never right? Well here it is in all its glory. I think it turned out cute but hopefully Marti likes it.

Materials:
Scrapbook paper: .15 cents each. (on sale) You wont use it all so save the extra and use it on something else.
wood letters: $1.50 each
paint: I already had it.
ribbon: I already had it.
something for the back like: wood or cardboard. In this case I used art canvas. $2.99 for 3
I also bought some flowers and pearls to doll it up a little. About 5 dollars for it all.

1st step: cover your canvas with the paper. You can modge podge or just tape it. Either way works.
2nd step: paint your letters and glue them on.
3rd step: add anything you like to doll them up.
4th step: add ribbon to the back to hang them.

That's it people. So simple yet so cute. What do you think?

Well not much has happened around here except that Greg got part ownership in the Park City Kneaders!!! He worked so hard and got rewarded for his extra effort! I'm so proud of him! He hasn't really had much time at home since we moved and I have been working 3 nights a week. So we don't see each other much. Plus when his is home he is soooo tired from working 12 - 15 hours that he goes to bed at like 7. No Joke. Well Wednesday he had a day off and Maddie and I were so excited. Maddie just loves her dad. He rolled on the floor and played with her for hours. Here are some pics that I thought were just to cute.

Maddie, Maddie cakes, Maddie Mac is 9 months old. I know every one says it is crazy how fast time goes but you have no idea until you have a baby of your own. Some new things Maddie does:

*crawls
*has 1 tooth and one almost in.
*likes to walk
*tries to climb on anything and everything
*says dada and mama and some other giberish.
*can throw a temper tantrum with the best of them.
*loves to sleep on her belly with her head as far as she can get it in the corner of her crib.
*loves music and dances to it.
*loves to scream in public just so she can get attention from everyone around.
*she thinks its fun to slap mom and pull her hair then laughs at you when you tell her no.
*she knows every where she is not suposed to be and makes sure she visits them at least 2 times a day.
*loves people her size. She thinks it is so funny when they walk by.
*she can roll her tongue. like when you roll your R's.
*had her first real hair cut.
*lick's everything. she doesn't eat it just lick's it.

We love her so much and can't wait for other new things are to come.

Maddie's first tooth

That's right people she has one in and one just below the surface. I didn't even know she was teething until it finally came through and I was feeding her lunch. She was pretty good except she didn't sleep very good for 3 nights but I thought it was becasue of gas. She has a major gas problem that wakes her up at night. Anyways I hope the rest are likes this but I know they probably wont be!!!!

Its a single wide trailer and they built a cover over the top. Its built like a car port but for a trailer.

Our land lady said this place was good and pretty reasonably priced. We walked in and walked right back out. $20 dollars a plate is a little out of our price range.

This little beauty is a drug store..... but they were voted best hamburger joint in utah 2009.

Dicks hamburger place. We tried to eat there 3 times before we finally figured out they were closed Mondays and were only open from 11 to 6pm.

Well this is actually her 3rd but the first time by someone who knows what they are doing. She has always had crazy hair but when your baby starts getting dread locks I think its time to cut. Her hair just got long enough that it didn't stick up in the back but now she is my little peacock again! HAHA I love this little girl even though she is getting some major attitude!!

Christmas with the Ellison

This Christmas was so fun with Maddie even though I knew she wouldn't know what was going on. But she loved having everyone around to play with. She is such an attention junkie. Well Christmas Eve we stayed at my moms house and opened PJ's and watched a movie. We woke up at 8 to open presents, ate some breakfast and then headed down to Greg's parents to talk to Thomas and do Christmas with them. I will have to do another post about his family becasue we couldn't find our camera to take pics. So I will have to get them from Grandpa. Until then enjoy these beauties and don't look at the fat lady behind Maddie. Its me and its SCARY!!!!!!

I kept thinking today how we ever want more children. I love Maddie to death but some days she really test my patience. She has not slept well for the last 4 nights. Usually waking up every two hours for one reason or another. Then at 6 she wants to be up for the day. Now I usually don't mind but I have had a cold and horrible cough for two weeks now and I just don't feel great. So not getting any sleep is not helping me at all. Today all she wanted to do is be held. Which most days I don't mind snuggling with her. But again I haven't felt well so the house has been put on hold. I really needed to get some stuff done today because tomorrow we are heading down to my parents for birthday dinner. NOTHING was getting done!!! She wouldn't take a nap and just cried every time I put her down. I thought maybe she isn't feeling well but nothing seems to be bothering her. I FINALLY FINALLY got her to sleep at 4:30 and she slept until almost 6. Which for her is a big nap! We are lucky if we get 2 half hour naps in a day. I finally got one load of laundry done and a much needed shower!! Anyway, she woke up so happy and ready to play! I just wish she would not fight sleep so bad! She is much easier to deal with when she sleeps all night and gets good naps. So here are some pictures after her nap and its hard to stay mad at her when she is this stinking cute! So, I guess more kids don't sound so bad after all!

I am how old and I can only do like 10 push ups! Not my baby! She does them all day long. Instead of getting into the crawling position this is what she does.........................
She also can tell me NOOO!! You try to give her something that she doesn't want and she shakes her head back and forth and pushes you away. This is bad people! She is so crazy sometimes but I still love her oh so much!

This past two weeks has been a whirl wind for me. So much has happened and I haven't had time to do a whole lot. That will change this week. We finally got moved into our new place and I really love it up here in the middle of no where. I love looking out my window to see cow pastures, horses, and mountains. I love driving down the road and people you don't know wave at you. I finally feel at home!

Well back to what I came to tell you about. Two Christmas miracles I would say. First my cousin Marti and Her hubby Jerm had a baby girl last Friday. She came a little early (5 weeks I think) and she is pretty darn healthy! She weighed in at 4 lbs 7 oz and 16.1 in long. She just needs to gain some weight so she can come home. These two have tried to have a baby for 2 years now and had quite a few bumps along the way. Marti is probably one of the strongest people I know and is always looking at the positive. I can't even imagine what they have been through especially now with a little baby myself. I don't think I would have handled it as well as her. I look up to her for it. She has taught me a lot even if she thinks she hasn't. So thank you Marti. You two deserve the very best and that little angel of yours is truly beautiful. Pics to come soon!

Next is me friends that I have been donating my proceeds to. I got a call yesterday telling me that they were on there way to pick up a brand new baby boy! I can't believe it! They sent me a pic on my phone and he is so precious. They looked so happy. Their family is complete this Christmas season. I can't wait to see this little bundle and tell them congrats! I hope she will let me share some pictures with you soon.

Well speaking of babies..... mine is telling me to get off the computer and come take care of her. So until next time....... but first enjoy some pictures. This is Maddie's fav place to hang these days. She could sit here for hours.
